Name: Lishui      Standard: 8 Persons      Hue: Silvery

Target Customers: banquets, high-end business talks, business travelers and family parties

Unique Local Culture:

The Lishui River, the fourth largest river in Hunan, runs across Hunan and Hubei provinces. Located to the south of the Yangtze River, to the north, it is separated from the Qingjiang River of Hubei at the northern branch of the Wuling Mountains; to the south, it forms the dividing line with the Ruanshui River at the southern branch of the Wuling Mountains; to the west, it starts from the mountainous regions of Hunan and Hubei; and to the north, it is adjacent to the end of the Dongting Lake.
The terrain around is higher on the west, south and north sides and lower on the east side. Both its trunk and main tributaries flow from northwest to southeast, with the trunk flowing more southward, and they thus form a comb-shaped water system. Up from Nancha of Sangzhi County, its trunk is divided into north, central and south sources. Among them, the north source is the longest and originated from Shanmujie of Sangzhi County; the central source has the largest flux and is originated from the east foot of the Badagong Mountain on the border of Hunan and Hubei; and the south source is rather small and originated from Buta of Yongshun County. After these three sources converge, the river flows southward through Sangzhi and then flows eastward through Zhangjiajie, Cili, Shimen and Lixian, in the process of which it accepts the main tributaries such as the Loushui, Qushui and Daoshui Rivers, and finally it pours into the Dongting Lake at the Small Ferry of Jinshi.
Surrounding environment: In the upper reach of the Lishui River is a section named the Maoyan River which stretches as long as about 50 kilometers and is called “100-mile gallery”. Here are green mountains and clear waters, perilous cliffs and grotesque rock formations and numerous shoals and rapid currents, all of which present an interest of wilderness. Floating on the Maoyan River by boat, you can find the river winding through peaks and with the boat moving, you can have a feast of endless picturesque scenery, which gives you the feeling that “here are not, but better than, Three Gorges”.

Culture of This Private Room:

Wuling Color Silica. Creative Idea: “Wuling color silica (jade) is so called because it is produced at the 2-3-kilomter section of the Lishui River at the foot of the Wuling Mountain in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. Containing the element of ferric oxide, such rocks are mostly red brown; and a small number of them are scarlet and they are what we called Chicken Blood Red, which are very precious.
